Thursday, May 7th, 8:30am-3:30pm,: Leisure Studies Research Forum in Celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies. A catered lunch will be provided; off-campus attendees will be charged a nominal fee, which will be collected at registration.
Thursday, May 7th, 8:00PM, Thursday, May 7th, 8:00PM, pre-symposium dessert social at the home of Troy Glover and Diana Parry. No fee. Directions will be emailed to registrants.
Friday, May 8th, 8:30AM-5:00PM, GARLS Symposium, University of Waterloo, Lyle Hallman Institute, SunLife Auditorium 1621. No fee. A complimentary catered lunch will be provided.
Friday, May 8th, 5:30PM-7:30PM, Post-symposium social at Caesar Martini's (140 University Avenue West, Waterloo). Tapas and dessert menu; cost to be determined but will most likely fall within the range of $15 to $20 per person. Fee will be collected at the registration table on the morning of the GARLS symposium.
