Mork and Mindy Box

This "situation comedy" television program was telecast from 1978 through 1982. The program was a spin-off from Happy Days, from one 1978 episode in which an alien from the planet "Ork" landed on Earth and attempted to kidnap Richie. Robin Williams played the alien "Mork from Ork" - a nutty character - and was so popular that the network created the spin-off series that fall.

The plot of the Mork and Mindy show revolved around the fact that Mork was sent to Earth to study the customs. Mindy befriended him and helped him to adjust to Earthling customs.
