The photograph on the left is of a cardboard match box 5.2cm wide x 3.5cm long x 1.5cm high.
The outer box is a sleeve and has the game instruction printed in German and French on the back.
The inner cardboard box holds a raised cardboard platform with a pattern for the Mill Game.
This is a game with many variations and has a long history going back to the "Middle Ages". In England, it know as a "Morris Game". This platform has holes for the insertion of the small peg playing pieces. There are 3 red pegs and 3 blue pegs. This is a game for two players.
Click on the left menu item above to find out more about Mill Games, and how the game is played. Use your back button to return to the Matchbox game page.
