Catch

The photograph at the left partially illustrates the game of Catch which was produced in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in th 1970s by the Arico Playing Card Company. The game was donated to the Museum in 1980.

Included in the flap-top box are instructions and information for parents in both English and French. The box is 9.2cm long x 6.cm wide x 1.5cm thick (pictured on the upper right of the photograph).

Card backs (illustrated lower right) contain drawings of sea creatures. The front of each of the 32 cards in the deck (8.9cm long x 5.8cm wide) contain drawings of fish, walrus, lobsters, crabs, whales, etc. The name of each sea creature is printed on the bottom of each card. Coloured dots related to the play of the game are in the corners of cards.
