It is played with two sets of twelve stones on a checker similar to that of fantÓ·rad.

At the beginning of the game, the stones are disposed as shown in the accompanying figure.

The stones move as in fantÓ·rad, but they take an opponentĺs piece by jumping over it (not diagonally).

As in our own draughts they can take several pieces in succession. There are no "kings." Taking is not compulsory.
